Three years ago my whole life changed. I became a mother to a wonderful little girl, who has inspired me to begin this journey. The moment I looked in her eyes I wanted to be the best version of myself that I could be. At the time I was a single mom working at a wonderful job with some amazing mentors and "cheerleaders", as I like to call them! I started designing thank you cards, birth announcements and birthday invitations for my daughter and had so much feedback from friends and family that the "starting a business" seed was planted. But you see, I was scared (terrified actually) of putting myself, my designs, out there to be judged and disliked. Over the next two years my "cheerleaders" kept chanting louder and louder until I finally felt that little seed start to break open.
There was an evening when I was playing around and laughing with my daughter and all her 2 year old sass when I realized what I really wanted to do with my life. SMILE. Simple as that. The next day I spoke to my #1 Cheerleader about my thoughts and he gave me that final RAH RAH and off I went. The seed bloomed and has started to grow beautifully. I thought of a business name that day... SassyRae Expressions, and it's all my daughter. Rae is her middle name and Sassy, well she was and still is full of just the right amount of sass. All my designs here at SassyRae Expressions are designed to make you smile with class and the perfect amount of sass!
